Introduction to SG Series Modified Asphalt Equipment

Composition of Modified Asphalt Complete Equipment
The SG series modified asphalt equipment is applicable to the production of various polymer-modified asphalts. The modifiers can be SBS, SBR, EVA, PE, etc.
This equipment mainly consists of swelling and mixing, instantaneous heating, metering, grinding, finished product incubation, electrical control and other systems.
1. Swelling and Mixing System
This equipment adopts the method of circulating and heating the heat transfer oil in the channel steel outside the swelling mixing tank. Through the special design of the tank body and the mixing paddle slurry, there are no dead corners in the tank, and the tank can be fully stirred without clogging. The mixer uses a grease-lubricated cycloidal pinwheel reducer, which has a high output efficiency, strong resistance to environmental factors, and a long maintenance cycle. A pressure sensor designed by our company is installed in the tank for high-temperature and high-viscosity liquid level detection. The human-computer interaction operation interface enables an intuitive observation of the liquid level status in the tank. The tank is equipped with functions such as temperature sensors, liquid level limiters, and valve signal sensors, ensuring high safety performance.
2. Heating System
This system is composed of an asphalt pump, a frequency converter, temperature sensors, a heat exchanger, and corresponding valves and pipes. Under the control of the automatic constant temperature program, by comparing the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet of the heat exchanger measured by the temperature sensors, through PID closed-loop control, the asphalt pump is adjusted steplessly and variably in frequency to achieve a constant output at the set asphalt temperature. Asphalt is in a high-temperature and closed environment for a short time, and the phenomenon of asphalt aging will not occur.
3. Metering System
For the metering of asphalt, a high-precision asphalt flowmeter is used to convert the mechanical data of the flowmeter counter into pulse electrical signals. The pulse signals received by the PLC are calculated by the high-speed counter, and when the set asphalt value is reached, the asphalt feeding pump will automatically stop. The regulator composed of the metering tank and the weighing module amplifies the signals of the weighing module through an amplifier. The PLC receives the amplified signals calculated by the program, sets the required quantity, and automatically stops when the set value is reached. It assists in metering and measurement, and asphalt is automatically added to the next feeding procedure as needed.
4. Grinding System
Reasonably add a high-viscosity modified asphalt mixture conveying pump equipped with a two-stage high-speed shearing colloid mill series and a modified asphalt grinding system. After the first grinding, the second grinding by the second high-speed shearing mill can achieve the ideal effect. The high-shear grinding motor and stator are specially designed for the asphalt mixture in the grinding chamber. In an extremely short time, the asphalt mixture is cut and ground in a Z-shaped movement mode, enabling countless times of modified asphalt refining and high production efficiency.
5. Control System
It adopts a human-computer interaction operation interface developed with the configuration of imported PLC + ForceControl. The working interface includes real-time display of the temperature of the base asphalt, real-time display of asphalt metering, real-time display of modifier metering, dynamic liquid level display, real-time display of auxiliary metering, and intuitive display of the production process flow. The operation interface is clear and easy to understand. Set the maximum density of asphalt modification, liquid level alarm control. The grinding pump and the high-speed shearing mill are equipped with frequency converters. The current is automatically adjusted through PLC control. The system data can be set, all production batch data are automatically saved, which is convenient for querying. It has the function of printing production reports, enables continuous production in the production line, and has high production efficiency, stable and reliable performance.
6. Finished Product Incubation System
The prepared modified asphalt is stored in the finished product incubator and continuously stirred and inoculated. Stabilizers are added according to the test formula to ensure that the modified asphalt has good thermal storage stability.
